A colleague from school has given me a very useful handout to work with verbs that are followed by the infinitive, the gerund or both. Thank you, Reyes.
You can print it if you want and you can also so the online exercises suggested.

I’m sure you have found out lots of things about Britons and I’m sure you want to learn more.
You can find the lesson in ELLA (English Language Lab Asturias) along with other useful activities.
If you want to do “The Essence of Britishness” again, click here.
Don’t forget to visit ELLA from time to time. Hope you enjoy it!
One of my burning ambitions for this year is that you become a regular contributor to Bloggin’ Time. Last Thursday I gave you a copy with instructions to follow to do so. You can access to them and you can keep them in your computer.
Click here if you don’t have an email account.

Tomorrow we will start our lesson by listening to your greatest achievements. Don’t forget!
I’ve just added to new links to the blogroll. One of them belongs to a teacher at out school (Ana Arrondo) and the other one contains internet resources, reviews, news and trivia both for learnesrs and students of English. It is called The English Blog.
I hope you find them useful.
So many recommendations! Swine Flu seems to be the main conversation topic these days. Everywhere you go, there are people who know of someone who has had it or who is afraid of having it. Thanks to Linda, who told me about this video, we could see that swine flu is a global worry.
If you want to watch the video again and check for vocabulary and pronunciation, here you are.
Yes, we’re back to school again.
Welcome to this new course which, hopefully, would be your last one.
Today we start another new experience. We are meeting new people and we are anxious about it. At least, I am!
I hope you join this blog and you enjoy the blogging experience. I would like it to be another meeting point outside the classroom, one in which we will share lots of things. If you are new, I would like you to take a “virtual walk” and “dive” into it and see if you find anything that suits your needs as a student of English.
Some of the articles in the blog are by the students I taught last year. I hope you also contribute to the blog not only writing articles, but also suggesting links you think could be useful for all of us as they did last year. Without your contributions, nothing would be the same.
See you!
